I just bought a Kubota L2850 4WD diesel built approx. 1990. It has a loader and the following 3 pt. attachments.. 5' tiller, 6'rotary mower(used little), lawn pulverizer, Box scraper/scarifier,and a 6' rear blade. The hour meter had stopped at 340 hrs but all is in near perfect condition. Everything works fine and the tires have about 75% left. The original owner said it was used very little and had never needed any mechanical repairs. I paid 6500.00 and am wondering if this sounds like a reasonable price. Am I correct in assuming this is rated about 28 HP ? I would also like to know if there are any known problems to watch for ? I would appreciate any input !

Tractors then and today are rated a little different, yours is about 26PTO horsepower and about 34 engine which is how they rate or talk or ADVERTISE them. The 26 is your useable horsepower on the PTO shaft out the back of the tractor. You did very well on your purchase and if your close enough by and would like to sell it let me know! I do believe that you are around 500 hours on the tractor for the tire wear showing. ....
